With the exception of the hum from the air conditioning units, all is quiet here at the neighborhood center as I sit at the computer with my morning coffee. So it will be the Suns and the Mavericks in the NBA Western Finals. That should be a good match-up, as well as the Heat and the Pistons in the Eastern Finals.

The quiet time is a nice way to start the day. It will be like this through Friday. Then on next Tuesday, the summer camp starts. Children running down the hallway yelling, screaming, and making bodily noises that they think are funny.

Popeye's mother has just been found!

I was having fun with the word "spudnut", which Capatain Morgan used in his blog earlier today.

So I decided that it would be fun to make spudnut the word of the day.

As I was typing away at the computer keyboard, I got to thinking about Pee Wee's Playhouse with Pee Wee Herman. Do you remember when he had a word for the day, all the characters in the clubhouse would scream when the first person said the word. That's why I wrote that in my blog, in case you're wondering.

As I think about it, I miss Pee Wee Herman. I would always laugh my ass off watching him with all of his neat toys and gadgets.

I could sure watch him now, because I can use some laughs.

Great! It's Friday! Payday! Fun Fact Friday!

1.) The CAVS are up on the Pistons in the second round of the NBA playoffs, 3-2. Game 6 is tonight at Cleveland. GO CAVS!

2.) The Indians are still in third place in the American League Central, but they have a three game win streak going.

3.) Interleague play starts this weekend. The Tribe plays Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay plays Florida, and the Mets and Yankees do the subway series!

4.) I have to eat breakfast after I wake up. I'm starving after a good night's sleep. And I need my morning coffee!

5.) I love sushi. As a matter of fact, I am having sushi with salmon and yellowtail for lunch as I write.

Now let's hope the Internet gods do not send this post to the cyberspace black hole.
