It is 1:00 a.m. as I begin to write this blog. I am usually not up this late on a Sunday, let alone any other night of the week. I put in a long, hot day of work at the theme park, and then I decided to go out for a bit before I came home.
I went out to Downtown Disney and had a cigar at Sosa Family Cigar Company. There was an older gentleman rolling cigars by hand this evening, and you can watch him at his craft, as well as purchase one of his works to enjoy. I bought three of his cigars. One will be smoked tomorrow after dinner, and one will be smoked later in the week. Any time I get a chance to buy a fresh, hand rolled robusto, I would rather buy a newly rolled cigar rather than one that has been sitting on the shelf for who knows how long.
The sales clerk asked me if I would like him to cut a cigar to smoke there, which I did. What I really enjoyed even more than the cigar was being able to watch the people walk by as I sat in the lounge chair in the storefront. Families, couples, and groups of friends would walk past, on their way to dinner, shopping, a movie, or clubbing at Pleasure Island.
Some of the people were dressed up. Some people were dressed casual, and some people...
Well, it looked like a few had just woke up after sleeping in their clothes. Throw on a baseball style cap. It doesn't matter if the cap is on straight or crooked. And put on a belt, even though the guy has a 30 inch waist and he has a belt that is 58 inches. And then these guys are walking around with one hand on their pants, holding them up.
And then there were a few young women that were wearing outfits that they had no business wearing.
"So, how much petroleum jelly did you use to get in those pants?"
Anyway, I decided to come home and get a bite to eat and watch some television. Not much on.
A few infomercials. And there was an ad with this big busted blond advertising some phone dating service. Like as if she has a problem finding a date. Who the hell calls these services?
Anyway, nothing much on. I need to build on my DVD collection.
And maybe I should have stayed at Downtown Disney a little longer. At least there was something interesting to watch there.
