To everyone that has stopped by to check out my blog, my thanks for reading it, and my apologies for not having posted anything recently. I have been really busy over the holidays. I am sure that many of you out there are going through the same thing. I have been working a lot lately, and I also came down with a sinus cold after Christmas.
I am about over the cold, but I am not over the butt-kicking that Florida gave Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl. I cannot believe how the Buckeyes could not get the offense going. It seemed to me that Florida came to play. That's for sure! With the exception of the Hula Bowl and Senior Bowl, that marks the finish of the college football season for 2006.
The NFL playoffs are under way, and it looks like there will be some good games this weekend. San Diego-New England should be good, and the Colts go back to the city that they left to play the Ravens. The Baltimore Ravens fans will be into that game. I will pick the Chargers and the Ravens. In the NFC, Seattle plays at Chicago. I'm going with da' Bears since my friend Coach is a Bears fan. As for Philadelphia and New Orleans, I like both teams, but I got a funny feeling about the Eagles pulling an upset in the Big Easy.
For New Year's Eve, I had to work at the park. It was busy, but we managed to have a fun time. The fireworks for midnight was fantastic! I didn't have to work New Year's Day, so I watched the college bowl games. I watched the games during the week, and I am still impressed with Boise State. What a game that turned out to be.
For Christmas, I got a digital camera. A Canon SD600. Does anyone know anything about that model? When I get some time, I will have to figure out how to download the photos onto my computer. My brother also gave me a recipe book for martinis! It looks like I will have to do some experimenting in the next couple of months!
As for my personal life, not much has changed. I am not making any resolutions, but I want my life back. Not much is going on with the exception of work, and it's getting on my nerves.
Last night, a friend and his wife invited me over to watch the OSU-Florida game. It was nice to be around friends for a change, as well as being in the company of an attractive lady, if only for a brief time.
I have some changes to make, and some other business to take care of. There is a part of me that is looking forward to 2007, but there is a part of me that is not.

Well, it is almost 10:00 p.m. Time for me to get ready for bed. Five o'clock in the morning comes really early, and it is going to be a cold one tonight. Take care, and I'll write soon. And I'll try to get over to your blog sometime.
Maybe I'll do that while enjoying a martini.
