What's happening, everybody?
Just thought I would drop a line to say hello while Norah Jones sings in the background.
The Daytona 500 is tomorrow. Traffic around Orlando was bad today, with many people here for the races or a three day weekend. And the theme park was crazy today.

Long lines, vending carts running out of items, and crying babies. MANY crying babies.

At least the weather was beautiful, and tomorrow's forecast calls for a high of 84 degrees. We will be selling a lot of bottled water and ice cream tomorrow.
Whenever there is an event, such as the races, Spring Break, and Bike Week, traffic is always going to be heavy. Events take place in Daytona, but many people find their way over to Orlando. With Disney, Universal, and Sea World, people hop on Interstate 4 and visit the parks. Cars with different license plates, driven by people with a license from that state. And I have come to the conclusion that bad drivers come from all over.
Sometimes I wonder if people have left their brain at home, let alone left the coffee pot on. And if they are reading a map, talking on the cell phone, AND eating/drinking something at the same time, you know that they are going to be coming over into your lane.
Anyway, I survived the heavy traffic today, although I was almost late for work. And it was a good day at work, so I can't complain.
And if you get a chance to have some free time and can brave the traffic and parking, check out "No Country For Old Men". I went out to see it last night, and it is a really good movie, albeit a violent one.
Well, I have to get going. It is late and I have to get up early in the morning. No sleeping in for this guy. So if you are in Orlando and you see some guy in a white truck honking his horn at bad drivers on the interstate, it's probably me.

Oh, and to the author of Life Is Not One Big Joke, I stopped by your blog tonight to leave a comment, only to get "Page Cannot Be Found".

So I just wanted to say hello and to let you know that coffee will be ready in the morning.
You should see how I drive when I have not had my morning coffee.
