I'm tired and I want to go to bed.
Had a drink about an hour to go, and it's gone straight to my head.
Oh, to sing like Greg Lake.
The NASCAR race from Richmond is over, as well as a repeat of Saturday Night Live. So there is not much on, and it has been a long day. Time for me to retire for the evening, as it turns into early morning.
As I sit at home getting ready for bed, I think about the days when I would still be out at this time, and last call would soon be served. And someone would be singing about being wasted away again in Margaritaville. Looking for that lost shaker of salt.
As for me, I would think about that song from the Emerson, Lake, and Palmer CD that sits in my collection.
I am home, though, and no other place I would rather be. So good night, everybody. Sleep well, and may you have a wonderful Sunday.
I will post something soon. When I have something to write about. Which I do, but it is late. And the Sandman has just arrived.
And if anybody wants to stop by for coffee in the morning, I'll have the coffee brewing. As I always do.
Cream and sugar?
Cream, it is!
Have a great day, and enjoy the coffee.
Enjoy!
Night night,
See you soon!
